Today I am reaching out to you from our brand-new model home in Truckee, California to talk about creating comps for new properties. Sometimes you represent a client who doesn’t have a ton of information on their new home because it was only built recently. How do you create a reliable comp in this situation? A lot of new-builders don’t go through the MLS to avoid the risk of an underpriced home hurting their future comps, so today I’ll let you know how to gather data on a property without going through the MLS.
